But can we live a life free of sin, is this even possible? Jesus Christ said that He is the vine and we are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, For without me you can do nothing (John 15:5). So by this scripture we understand that we are helpless to bear the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23) without abiding in Jesus Christ.
What does it mean to have Jesus Christ abiding in us? John 15:7 says "If ye abide in me, and my WORDS abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. When we keep the words of Jesus Christ He abides in us, because Jesus Christ said that He is the WORD made flesh (Jh. 1:14).
And just what is this WORD that I'm talking about, well in Matthew 4:4 Jesus Christ said " But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not LIVE by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
So we must LIVE by the WORD that God spoke!
Now what WORDS came directly out of the mouth of God for mankind to LIVE by. Exodus 20:1-2 says " And God SPAKE all these WORDS, saying, I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. In verses 3 - 11 God speaks out the 10 COMMANDMENTS to the children of Israel.

These are the words that Jesus Christ promises to write upon your heart and in your mind (Jer. 31:33 and Heb. 10:16) when you submit to His authority over your life. In other words He will create in you a new heart or mind and will work the righteousness of His Law in your life (Rom 8:4).
No more pornography, fornication, drug addiction, adultery, stealing, lying, coveting, murder, taking God's name in vain, breaking God's 7th day Sabbath. Whatever the vice or addiction or SIN that you cannot overcome, no matter how hard you try; Jesus Christ will set you free and give you the power to live a victorious life free of sin. All power in Heaven and Earth has the Father given to His Son Jesus Christ(Matt. 28:18) and this power to live a victorious life is yours for the asking.
Here's how to crush sin, vice, addiction in your life! Are you ready, then let's go!
#1 Confess to God that you are a sinner and are helpless to change your own condition (John 1:9).
#2 Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (Acts 2:37-38)
#3 Continue daily in prayer and the study of God's word to grow spiritually (Acts 2:42).
#4 Even as Jesus Christ rebuked the wind and rain and they obeyed and even demons obeyed (Mat. 8:26, Lk. 4:35). So to when evil thoughts come to invade your mind, you must immediately rebuked it and bring it into subjection to the cross of Jesus Christ. You must speak out loud to the temptation and bind it always in the name of Jesus Christ. Yes You must slay (by the Power of Jesus Christ) the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the PRIDE of life or they will surely slay You!
#5 Beware of what you listen to or watch on your Tv or the Radio or the Internet, set no evil thing before your eyes (Ps. 101:3).
#6 Never, ever give up no matter how many times you fail. It took you years of learning to live a sinful lifestyle. And the reverse is also true, it will take a while to reverse years of sinful living habits. Some sinful habits will be overcome quickly, but others will take much prayer and fasting, but whatever you do never, ever give up (Rev. 3:11).
The following movie will help you to understand what it means to: repent of sin, confess sin, be baptized, to have faith in God, pray to God and truly love God and your fellow man.
